Absolutely not. The Drinkmate® OmniFizz simply works with a CO2 cylinder, no electricity or batteries are required, so it can be placed anywhere you want.

What can the Drinkmate® OmniFizz do more than other beverage carbonators?
The Drinkmate® OmniFizz has a patented process (the Fizz Infuser) that prevents the drink used from over-foaming. This means that the Drinkmate can not only carbonate water, but also any other cold drink.

Does the Drinkmate® OmniFizz require electricity?
No. The OmniFizz works with a CO2 cylinder and does not require electricity or batteries.
How many liters can one 60L CO2 cylinder carbonate?
One 60L cylinder can carbonate up to 60 liters of beverages, depending on usage and carbonation preferences.
Where can I get CO2 refills for my OmniFizz?
You can order 60L CO2 refill cylinders, as a single refill or a multi-pack, directly from Drinkmate on our CO2 Supplies page.
Does the Starter Kit qualify for the CO2 Exchange?
Not on its own. To qualify for the CO2 Exchange, you'll need to send in at least two empty cylinders. The Starter Kit includes one CO2 cylinder, so you will need at least one additional cylinder to begin an exchange. See our CO2 Exchange page for full details.
What warranty comes with the OmniFizz Starter Kit?
