Can you carbonate juice? Yes! Here's how.

You can carbonate juice using a Drinkmate soda maker, such as the Drinkmate OmniFizz. Unlike most soda makers that carbonate water only, the Drinkmate system allows safe carbonation of juice, tea, wine, and cocktails.

The Drinkmate OmniFizz uses a patented, detachable pressure valve called the Fizz Infuser, which allows you to safely carbonate any beverage like:

  • Fruit juice
  • Cocktails and mocktails
  • Iced Tea
  • Wine
  • Flat soda

This flexibility makes it the best home soda maker for people who want to experiment with fizzy drinks at home. All you have to do is follow these simple steps:

1. Chill the Juice First

Cold liquids carbonate better than warm ones. Chill your drink in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours before carbonating.

2. Fill the Carbonation Bottle

Pour the chilled juice into the Drinkmate bottle and fill. Make sure not to fill past the max-fill line, as overfilling can cause excess foam during carbonation.

3. Attach the Bottle to the Machine

Attach the Fizz Infuser to the bottle, and connect to the machine. The bottle locks into place before carbonation begins.

4. Press the Carbonation Button

Press the carbonation button 2–4 short bursts depending on how fizzy you want the juice.

Because juice contains sugars and pulp, carbonation may create foam. The OmniFizz system safely manages this pressure inside the bottle.

5. Release Pressure Slowly

One of the most important steps is slowly releasing the pressure using the Fizz Infuser’s release valve.

This allows the foam to settle and prevents the juice from spraying or overflowing.

1. Serve and Enjoy

Once the pressure is fully released, remove the cap and pour your freshly carbonated juice into a glass.

Add ice, fruit slices, or herbs for extra flavor.

And that's it! If you enjoy sparkling beverages and want more variety than plain soda water, carbonating juice is a great option. The Drinkmate OmniFizz makes it possible to safely carbonate juice, tea, cocktails, and more in just a few minutes.
